Chitra Pournami: KAILASA Celebrates the Birth Star Anniversary of THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM

April 23, 2024 – Chitra Nakshatrotsavam: KAILASA Celebrates the monthly occurrence of Chitra Nakshatra, the birth star of THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM

In the auspicious alignment of the Chitra Nakshatra, KAILASA, the Ancient Enlightened Sanatana Hindu Civilizational Nation, joyously celebrates Chitra Nakshatrotsavam, the festival dedicated to the monthly recurrence of the birth star of THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM (SPH). This sacred occasion is marked by auspicious traditional observances and community service activities in honor of THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM (SPH), BHAGAVAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM.

The Chitra Pournami festivities are primarily centered on the city of Tiruvannamalai, the birth town of THE SPH, one of the holiest cities in Hinduism, where a grand Annadhan offering of free food is conducted. In line with THE SPH’s vision of serving all devotees of Paramashiva, hundreds of thousands (lakhs) of meals featuring nutritious, medicinal cuisine are served free of cost over 48 hours of continuous service, embodying the spirit of compassion and charity championed by THE SPH.

Chitra Pournami holds the significance of commemorating the anniversary of the inauguration of the Sri Nithyananda Janmabhūmi Kshetram campus, which was established on April 19, 2008. Founded personally by THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM, this sacred place is a spiritual and religious pilgrimage site. Over the years, it has become a sanctuary where millions have gathered to immerse themselves in profound spirituality. This sacred space facilitates the transmission of spiritual knowledge and experiences, enabling countless devotees to receive the grace of Paramashiva and achieve spiritual liberation. The anniversary celebrations further underscore the lasting impact of THE SPH’s visionary contributions to spiritual enlightenment and global harmony.

Further honoring the day, a series of Sevas and traditional temple rituals are meticulously performed, celebrating the happening of Paramashiva on Earth as THE SPH. Among the highlights of the celebrations is the Maheshwara Puja, a sacred ceremony where THE SPH personally bestows liberation upon departed souls, allowing them eternal rest at the feet of Paramashiva.

Adding to the day’s spiritual magnificence, THE SPH grants a special LIVE Darshan, touching the hearts of devotees worldwide as the 1008th Incarnation of Paramashiva, showering boons and Enlightenment upon all, uplifting all attendees with His profound spiritual presence and divine grace.

Devotees from around the world express their deep gratitude for THE SPH’s immense contributions to their lives and to humanity. Many participate in the traditional ritual of Tulabharam, donating wealth equivalent to THE SPH’s weight in materials such as gold, silver, and other offerings as a symbol of their devotion and support for the mission of KAILASA led by THE SPH.

Through these flamboyant and sacred observances, KAILASA reaffirms its commitment to fostering conscious empowerment, social welfare, and global harmony, guided by the enlightened leadership of THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM.
