May 22, 2024 – Today marks the auspicious celebration of the Nithyananda Purnima, a sacred occasion that commemorates the Enlightenment experience of THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM (SPH), BHAGAVAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM. This day honors the transformative event that occurred when THE SPH, at the tender age of twelve, experienced an extraordinary 360-degree vision with his eyes closed while seated on the revered Pavalakundru rock, on the Arunachala Hill.
During this divine experience, THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM realized His presence within all animate and inanimate entities around Him, as vividly as within His own skin. This irreversible Enlightenment experience marked a profound internal awakening, bestowing upon Him immense spiritual wisdom.
On this auspicious Nithyananda Purnima, KAILASA honors THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM not only for this divine experience but also for His tireless and selfless efforts to better mankind and revive Hinduism.
This sacred day is also marked by the Pournami Nithyananda Aushadha Annadhan, an initiative personally initiated by THE SPH Himself. Through this initiative, KAILASA has already served more than 1 billion nutritious and medicinal meals free of cost. This large-scale distribution, held over 48 continuous hours in Tiruvannamalai, one of Hinduism’s most sacred cities, epitomizes the spirit of compassion and charity that THE SPH fervently advocates.
