Kailaasa IN Trinidad & Tobago

Kailaasa in Trinidad and Tobago is a powerful spiritual enlightenment ecosystem exclusively for women. This will be standing as the Largest Hindu Female Monastery for the Americas, housing a dynamic enlightening and empowering training center solely for women with at least 10,000 women initiated into one of the 10 orders of Nithyananda Sampradaya (Yoginis, Rudrakanyas, Bhariavis, Rishikas, Swaminis, Sanyasinis, Krama brahmacharinis, Naishtika brahmacharinis, Sadhvis, Vanaprasthinis).

Kailaasa in Trinidad is springing up into a beautiful and powerful enlightenment ecosystem with a large Nithyananda Hindu University comprising a Temple, Gurukul, Goshala, Annalaya, Yogalaya, Sacred Arts, Jnanalaya, Aadheenam.

Historically, in ancient India, women had always occupied positions of  power and high esteem. Prof. H.H. Wilson says: “It may be confidently asserted that in no nation of antiquity were women held in so much esteem as amongst Hindus.” (Mill’s History of Bharat, Vol. II)

The Divine in Hinduism is Artha Nareeswara in form and gender-free in formless.

Women enjoyed not only equal opportunities and privileges with men in the classical Hindu literature; they even enjoyed rights that were not available for their counterparts. Manu Smriti, declares:

Yatra Naryastu Pujyante Ramante Tatra Devatah – “Where women are worshipped there the angels tread”.

The nation of Kailaasa adheres to Sanatana Dharma (commonly referred to as Hinduism in the West) and operates under the cosmic principle of pure Oneness (Advaita) as described by Paramashiva, the original author of the science of yoga (union with the ultimate) and enlightenment. The application of Oneness to everyday life is revealed in the Agamas, ancient scriptures authored by Paramashiva, describing a society based on the fundamental ideals of universality, blissful coexistence, non-violence and freedom.

Kailaasa was created with the determination to not just preserve and protect Sanatana Hindu Dharma and share it with the entire world, but also to share the story of persecution that is yet unknown to the world. Towards this goal, Kailaasa is dedicated to the preservation, restoration and revival of an enlightened culture and civilization based on authentic Hinduism.

His Divine Holiness has tirelessly fought for gender equality and women’s empowerment, for which he has faced intense persecution, media defamation, false cases, and illegal arrests. In spite of attempts to delegitimize His progressive stance, His Divine Holiness has moved forward with his agenda of allowing women to be priests and monks, and women occupy a majority of leadership roles in his organization.

Trinidad and Tobago

Trinidad and Tobago is a dual-island nation in the southern Caribbean, located 7 miles off the coast of Venezuela.

Both islands boast great biodiversity in dense rainforests, rivers, oceans, bamboo groves and mangroves, which abound with hundreds of species of flora and fauna, including 450 types of birds. Trinidad is home to 17 species of hummingbirds, which explains why its earliest inhabitants named the island, Iere – the Land of the Hummingbird.

The Republic of Trinidad and Tobago known for its stable economy and spectacular beaches, also shelters a big population of 18.2% of Hindus.
