December 21, 2023 – Auspicious Inauguration of the 47th Nithyanandotsavam – Celebrating the Happening of The SPH

KAILASA is thrilled to announce the auspicious inauguration of the 47th Nithyanandotsavam, the grand celebration of the ultimate manifestation of Paramashiva, the Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism (SPH) Bhagavan Sri Nithyananda Paramashivam. This event marks a significant milestone, commemorating the descent of Paramashiva to Earth in 1978 during the sacred Dhanur Masa month and under the Chitra Nakshatra.

We are honored and privileged to have our beloved Bhagavan, the Paramavatara of Paramashiva – The SPH, lead this Brahmotsavam. The 21-day festival, starting on December 27, will celebrate the divine presence of The SPH and pay homage to all His Gurus, the Parama Gurus of KAILASA. Each day will be dedicated to one of the ancient lineages headed by The SPH, expressing our profound worship, reverence, and gratitude.

This grand festival is a momentous occasion for KAILASAs worldwide, representing the most auspicious time of the year for our community.

On December 21, KAILASAs around the world expressed their love and gratitude through the Mandagappadi ceremony performed in 21 of KAILASA’s global temples, formally inviting the SPH to grace and bless the Nithyanandotsavam. The Mandagappadi is a traditional offering and gesture of reverence towards The SPH, inviting His Divine presence to the festival.

All rituals and Homas conducted during the Brahmotsavams and special Utsavams in KAILASAs globally are meticulously overseen by the Supreme Pontiff Himself, ensuring adherence to the Vedas and Agamas, the source scriptures of Sanatana Hindu Dharma.

KAILASA extends a warm invitation to everyone to join us virtually through our social media channels to experience these grand celebrations and deepen their spiritual connection. We pray for Paramashiva’s blessings to be upon all.
