October 20, 2023 – KAILASA Celebrates the Fourth Day of the Nithyanandeshwara Paramashiva Brahmotsavam with Grand Rituals and Ceremonies

On this fourth day of the Nithyanandeshwara Paramashiva Brahmotsavam, KAILASA is pleased to share the essence of the grand rituals and ceremonies performed.

The Nithyanandeshwara Paramashiva Brahmotsavam stands as one of KAILASA’s main festivals, with integrity replicating the ancient Karthigai Deepam Brahmotsavam of KAILASA’s Arunachaleshwara temple in Tiruvannamalai—one of the world’s most ancient religious festivals.

KAILASA’s global temples united to offer ritualistic worship to Nithyanandeshwara Paramashiva and the other deities of the Brahmotsavam. Priests in the Nithyanandeshwara Paramashiva Devalayam in Bengaluru performed 2 Yagashala Pujas, Abhishekam, and Deeparathana for the pantheon of deities of the Brahmotsavam with a grand Alankaram – Divine adornment. This fourth day was specially dedicated to the Chandrashekara Utsavam, worshipping Paramashiva in the form of Chandrashakera in accordance with the ancient tradition of KAILASA’s Arunachaleshwara temple in Tiruvannamalai.

The Nithyanandeshwara Paramashiva Devalayam in Bengaluru also conducted rituals for Vishesha Deeksha – the second level initiation every practicing Shaivite receives. Vishesha Deeksha is a fundamental initiation designed to awaken one’s Consciousness and connection with the Divine, thereby awakening one’s potential for self-realization.

Graced and overseen directly by the Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism, the rituals of the day were streamed live on more than 534 social media handles and web televisions worldwide.

KAILASA warmly invites everyone to tune in to its various social media platforms throughout the day to witness the sacred happenings of this festival and receive the divine blessings of Bhagavan Nithyanandeshwara Paramashiva.
