November 18, 2023 – KAILASA Celebrates the Successful Events of the Second Day of Nithyanandeshwara Paramashiva Brahmotsavam

On this auspicious occasion of the Nithyanandeshwara Paramashiva Brahmotsavam, KAILASA is delighted to share the successful happenings of the second day of rituals and festivities.

The Nithyanandeshwara Paramashiva Brahmotsavam holds a significant place among KAILASA’s main festivals, faithfully replicating the ancient Karthigai Deepam Brahmotsavam of KAILASA’s Arunachaleshwara temple in Tiruvannamalai—an unbroken tradition that stands among the world’s most ancient rituals.

KAILASA’s global temples collaborated to perform a series of ancient rituals in honor of the presiding deity of this festival, Bhagavan Nithyanandeshwara Paramashiva. Additionally, the Shatru Samhara Trishati Homa was conducted in KAILASA Sripuram, KAILASA Toronto, and KAILASA Los Angeles, symbolizing the annihilation of global negativity. KAILASA Los Angeles also conducted the Abhishekam, the ritualistic bath ceremony, and a grand Homa, a traditional fire ritual, in honor of Bhagavan Subramanya, invoking His divine blessings as the Skanda Shasti festival draws to a close.

At KAILASA Tiruvannamalai Sri Nithyananda Jenmabhoomi, the traditional Mandagappadi, welcoming Bhagavan Arunachaleshwara Paramashiva during the sacred temple procession, was performed. Subsequently, Abhishekam was offered to Bhagavan Nithyanandeshwara Paramashiva, along with the deity of the Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism and other deities of the festival, followed by a grand Deeparathana—an elaborate devotional offering in accordance with the age-old tradition of KAILASA’s Arunachaleshwara temple in Tiruvannamalai.

Graced and overseen directly by the Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism, the rituals of the day were streamed live on more than 534 social media handles and web televisions worldwide.

KAILASA warmly invites everyone to tune in to its various social media platforms throughout the day to witness the sacred happenings of this festival and receive the divine blessings of Bhagavan Nithyanandeshwara Paramashiva.
