KAILASA Concludes the Second Day of Celebration of the Navaratri and Venkateshwara Brahmotsavams

October 16, 2023 – KAILASA concluded the second day of the Navaratri and Venkateshwara Brahmotsavams with fervent celebrations and intricate rituals. This second day of festivities featured a series of sacred ceremonies, awakening divine energy and enlightenment consciousness inside all. Rituals of the day were sponsored by various devotees and supporters, attracting immense benefits for themselves and for their kins.

The day commenced with the offering of Abhishekam to Devi Sri Rajarajeshwari at KAILASA in Sripuram, followed by a grand Chandi Homa, a traditional fire ritual in honor of the Divine Feminine, conducted at the same location. The Chandi Parayanam which is a segment of this long ritual was chanted by an assembly of initiated priests and sannyasis, invoking the blessings of the Mother Goddess.

Adding to the spiritual sanctity of the day, the Pratyaksha Pada Puja was offered at the feet of the Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism (SPH), symbolizing the offering of gratitude to the Guru from the disciples. The day was concluded with the beautiful ritual of Alankara Deeparathana, a devotional worship in honor of the presiding deities of these festivals: Devi Sri Rajarajeshwari and Bhagavan Sri Venkateshwara Swami.

These nine nights of Navaratri along with the auspicious Venkateshwara Brahmotsavam, stand as significant spiritual observances in Hindu culture. Through these festivities, individuals are inspired to embrace higher values of inclusivity, compassion and peace, while cultivating an attitude of responsibilism and powerfulness, promoting an enhanced spiritual understanding and connection with the divine.

The observance of such ancient traditional festivals, and sharing the benefits and values associated with them with the world, is one among the various initiatives undertaken by KAILASA with the aim of uniting all human beings and nations to raise human consciousness and establish global peace.
