KAILASA Concludes the Third Day of Celebrations of the Navaratri and Venkateshwara Brahmotsavams
October 17, 2023 – The third day of the Navaratri and Venkateshwara Brahmotsavams once more witnessed a series of sacred rituals to invoke the Divine Feminine. The day’s rituals commenced with the Rajarajeshwari Abhishekam followed by a grand Chandi Homa to invoke the blessings of the Divine Mother, all performed at KAILASA in Sripuram. The divine energy was further augmented by the chanting of the Chandi Parayanam, recited by a congregation of initiated priests and sannyasis, fostering a sense of spiritual connectivity and devotion.
The highlight of the day was the performance of the auspicious Shodashi and Chandi Navakshari Homas. Participants from various countries sponsored the ceremony, enabling them to powerfully experience the Divine Feminine Consciousness. The day concluded with the Alankara Deeparathana, a devotional offering to the deities of Devi Rajarajeshwari and Bhagavan Sri Venkateshwara Swami, the presiding deities of these festivals.
Navaratri is one of the most ancient festivals in the world, that symbolizes the triumph of good over evil and fosters a deep connection with the Divine Feminine. The celebration serves as an opportunity to invoke the blessings of the Cosmic Mother, promoting inclusivity, peace, and spiritual elevation. Similarly, the Venkateshwara Brahmotsavam is a celebration that honors Lord Venkateshwara, the Lord of wealth consciousness. Through this observance, individuals transcend materialistic limitations and empower themselves to expand with responsibility and attract abundance, guided by principles of non-violence and contribution.
