United Nations Publishes KAILASA’s 20th Report: A Milestone in Holistic Mental Health and Human Rights
November 4, 2024

November 4, 2024 – The United Nations has officially published KAILASA’s 20th report, a comprehensive document highlighting the intersection of mental health, human rights, and ancient Hindu wisdom.

This report presents a Hindu indigenous approach to addressing global mental health challenges, focusing on a holistic framework that combines spiritual, psychological, and physiological dimensions to foster overall well-being and resilience.

The report emphasizes the teachings and initiatives of The Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism (SPH) Bhagavan Nithyananda Paramashivam, who has revived and applied Hindu indigenous sciences to address mental health challenges at their roots.

Through programs such as Inner Awakening® and Paramashivoham℠, KAILASA is contributing to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially SDG-3, by promoting a balanced approach to mental health that integrates spiritual practices, self-awareness, and empowerment.

Highlights from the 20th Report:

Studies on Inner Awakening® Participants:
Studies on Inner Awakening® participants revealed significant reductions in inflammation-related pathways and chronic stress markers.

The program facilitated gene expression changes in aging pathways, reduced the pro-inflammatory cytokine IFN-γ by 2.51-fold, and enhanced stem cell regulation, signaling potential benefits for slowing aging and improving resilience.

Paramashivoham℠ Program Impact:
Launched as a free online program during the COVID-19 pandemic, Paramashivoham℠ has shown remarkable mental health benefits for participants worldwide.

Research from KAILASA’s Nithyananda Hindu University documented a 30% increase in participants’ well-being scores, along with a marked reduction in depression, anxiety, and stress levels post-program.

Brain Studies on SPH Bhagavan Nithyananda Paramashivam:
Neuroscientific studies highlight SPH’s extraordinary neurological abilities, including heightened frontal lobe activity and complete control over brain wave patterns, particularly during meditative and healing states.

Notably, researchers observed that participants’ heart rates and brain waves became synchronized with SPH’s during healing sessions, demonstrating the profound impact of His spiritual influence on others’ mental and physiological states.

Achievements of KAILASA’s Nithyananda Gurukul Students:
The report details the accomplishments of KAILASA’s Nithyananda Gurukul, where students demonstrate advanced cognitive development.

Through indigenous Hindu educational methods, Gurukul students showed intellectual maturity 2.7 years ahead of their peers, with 50% scoring in the Genius category.

These outcomes underscore the effectiveness of Hindu-consciousness-based education in promoting mental and intellectual development.

A Holistic Indigenous Framework

KAILASA’s report advocates an Indigenous Holistic Framework that emphasizes harmony between mind, body, and spirit through practices such as yoga, meditation, and Ayurvedic therapies.

It also supports women’s mental health empowerment, ensuring representation in governance, and promoting resilience and well-being in youth through structured Hindu education.

As the only Hindu nation globally, KAILASA continues to pioneer mental health solutions rooted in indigenous wisdom.

The 20th report underscores SPH Bhagavan Nithyananda Paramashivam’s vision for global mental health: an approach that respects diversity, promotes peace, and empowers individuals to reach their highest potential through self-realization.
