KAILASA’s Grand Magudabhishekam – The Divine Crowning of Paramashiva and a Tribute to King Vallalah Maharaja
On March 13, 2025, KAILASA’s temples observed the Grand Magudabhishekam, an elaborate coronation ceremony honoring Nithyanandeshwara Paramashiva and THE SPH BHAGAVAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM, the inheritor and reviver of the Kailasa Paramparagatha Adi Arunachala Sarvajnapeetam.
This sacred event was performed in divine alignment with the Arunachaleshwara Temple in Tiruvannamalai, Bharat—one of the most revered abodes of Paramashiva, where the divine flame of Arunachala shines eternally.
This ritual represents the sacred tradition of crowning Paramashiva as the supreme ruler of Arunachala Samrajyam, signifying the divine sovereignty that transcends time and space.
The Magudabhishekam included ceremonial bathing (Abhishekam) with sacred waters, milk, and fragrant herbs, grand flower decorations adorning the deity, jewel embellishments and Raja Alankaram gracing Paramashiva in regal splendor, the divine crowning adorning the deity with a royal crown and turban, and Deeparadhana (offering of lights) illuminating the divine presence of Paramashiva.
This sacred ceremony also honored the legacy of King Vallalah Maharaja, a great protector of Tiruvannamalai, whose valor, generosity, and ultimate sacrifice continue to inspire Hindus worldwide.
King Vallalah Maharaja – A Beacon of Compassion and Courage Betrayed by Treachery
King Vallalah Maharaja of the Hoysala Dynasty ruled Tiruvannamalai in the 14th century with unwavering devotion to Paramashiva and deep compassion for his people. He transformed Tiruvannamalai into a spiritual and cultural stronghold, ensuring the flourishing of the Arunachaleshwara Temple.
In 1335 CE, he valiantly defended his kingdom against Sultan Ala-ud-Din Udauji, securing a remarkable victory. Yet, his mercy in sparing the Sultan led to his betrayal. Invited to Madurai under false pretenses of peace, the aged king was captured, tortured, and brutally executed.
Despite his tragic end, Paramashiva honored his devotion, declaring himself as Vallalah’s heir. To this day, his final rites are performed annually at the Arunachaleshwara Temple, reaffirming that Dharma prevails, and true kingship belongs to Paramashiva.
Holi Celebrations at KAILASA’s Temples – A Grand Tribute to Bhagavan Sri Krishna
On March 14, 2025, KAILASA’s temples came alive with vibrant Holi celebrations, marking the divine playfulness of Bhagavan Sri Krishna—manifested as THE SPH BHAGAVAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM.
Devotees joyously participated in Churnabishekam, an auspicious offering of sweet fruit juices to the deities, Alankara Deeparadhana, a grand offering of lit lamps symbolizing divine grace, and traditional dance, music, and playful splashing of colors, celebrating divine love and oneness.
The Bhanke Bihari Lal deity of THE SPH was adorned in neela-lohitah (purple) robes, radiating the cosmic energy of Krishna’s divine play.
KAILASA’s Nithyananda Aushadha Annadhan: Over 1.5 Lakh Meals Served
Under the leadership of THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM (SPH), BHAGAVAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM, this initiative is a cornerstone of KAILASA’s mission to eradicate hunger. For over 30 years, it has provided millions with wholesome, nourishing meals, embodying KAILASA’s unwavering dedication to humanity.
During the Pournami festival, millions of devotees flocked to Tiruvannamalai, seeking spiritual refuge at Arunachala Hill. At Sri Nithyananda Janmabhūmi and Sri Nithyananda Janmabhūmi Kshetram, the sacred birthplace of THE SPH, KAILASA welcomed every pilgrim with freshly prepared, nutritious meals served with love and devotion.
Rooted in the ancient Bhaga Shastra, each meal is designed not just for nourishment but also for healing. Over 16 medicinal spices are meticulously incorporated to enhance health and well-being. The ingredients, sourced from organic and sustainable farming, uphold KAILASA’s commitment to nature and traditional agricultural wisdom.
This monumental effort was made possible by the dedication of over 500 volunteers, who ensured every meal was prepared with the highest standards of hygiene and care. Their tireless service embodied KAILASA’s vision of a compassionate and harmonious world.
More than just food distribution, KAILASA’s Nithyananda Aushada Annadhan is a transformative initiative integrating sustainability, spirituality, and heritage preservation. By reviving the wisdom of Sanatana Hindu Dharma, it presents a holistic solution to global hunger.
In less than 24 hours, over 150,000 meals were served—standing as a testament to KAILASA’s relentless commitment to a hunger-free world, where every being is nourished and uplifted.
