Subramanian, Flower Garlander, Shares How He Witnessed The Avatar Train in Yoga

For generation upon generation, Subramanian’s family served Annamalayar, the presiding deity of the Arunachaleshwara Temple, as His personal flower garlander. Every morning the flower garlander would walk to the temple, carrying the basket of flowers on his shoulders and tie the yellow, white red chrysanthemums in the Krittika Mandapam in the fourth circumambulation, fulfilling his duty to the Lord Arunachaleshwara with perfect integrity. Like this, the family adorned Paramashiva for hundreds of years until their cumulative devotion and integrity was inherited by Subramanian who was blessed by Paramashiva to witness the young Avatar and recognize Him then itself as the Incarnation of Paramashiva Himself. It was the very same Krittika Mandapam where Subramanian had the darshan of Paramashiva training in yoga and climbing the pillars of the stone structure with such intensity and passion. In this video, Subramanian’s memories of The Avatar are captured for the whole world to understand and imbibe the intense Yogic Training that He underwent in order to initiate millions into the superconscious breakthrough as well as the impact that He made even at a young age on those who overlooked and witnessed His divine Leelas in action.

Subramanian tied flower garlands at the Krittika mandapam for the temple deities in the Arunachaleshwara temple. It was during his 30 years of service, that Bhagavan decided to walk into Krittika mandapam for yoga lessons with Ragupathi Yogi. Subramani captures the intensity of the yoga lessons and frequency of the relationship between Yogi and young Bhagavan in the most simple yet powerful words ever.

Transcript:

Swami used to come to the Krittika mandapam every day early morning and leave at around 7.30am. He would come with a group of children and after some time, almost all of them left except Swami. He would climb these pillars like a monkey! I don’t know how He did it because His small hands cannot go around the pillar. It was just the energy of Arunachala!
Ragupathi Yogi was a short stocky man but extremely powerful. The way he used to look and walk was very different from usual. There was something very different between Ragupathi Yogi and Swamiji. There was an extraordinary bonding between them.
I am privileged to have seen Arunachaleshwara Himself come here and do yoga in front of my eyes. You are all very privileged to be part of the mission. Please spread this yoga. Whatever Swami Nithyananda has taught you all, please take it and spread it. It was a darshan for me to see them both together.

Note:

Shortly after His enlightenment experience at the age of 12, The young Avatar’s Yoga Guru Yogananda Puri arranged for a photoshoot to take portrait pictures of Him. This is the first ever picture of The Avatar in samadhi in Tiruvannamalai, His birth place.

He would apply vibhuti (sacred ash) in 16 places on His body as per the Hindu tradition. He is sitting on a deer skin given to Him by Yogananda Puri.

The photographer who took this picture was the same person who witnessed and captured Him in levitation while training with Yogananda Puri. View full description:

Yogananda Puri's Wife and Son Share Their Memories of the Avatar (Premavati and Bhoopati)

Among Yogananda Puri’s children, Bhoopati today recalls with deep humbleness how he had unknowingly befriended Paramashiva Himself and had the opportunity to relate with Him as a close friend and even a brother. In this video Bhoopati shares different divine and unfathomable incidents which He was the sole witness to and today serve as evidence of the power which Yogananda Puri yeilded and his own father’s role in the grand next increment of the Purana of Paramashiva.

The wife of Yogananda Puri, Premavati Ammal, also shares her blessed interactions with the young Incarnation and how she took any opportunity to feed Him whenever He came to her house, looking for Yogananda Puri.

A few years back the biography team went to meet the family of Yogananda Puri and collect their remembrances of Swamiji and Yogi. They were so eager to record their story. Here is a sharing from Premavati and Bhoopati, the wife and son of Yogananda.

In this interview, Bhoopati Aya realizes how much he missed when his father was alive and Swamiji was frequenting his house.

Bhoopati remembers that his father Raghupaty Yogi would always give something special to Swamiji and teach him specially. He remembers asking his father  “Why do you give only Him special things? The others are also doing (yoga), right?” He would reply, “You don’t know about Him now. He is a great mahan (great being). You should know that by seeing the boy’s involvement. I won’t tell anything by myself; you will understand later. He will become a great person.”

As he remembers those days now, Bhoopati even realizes that he missed Swamiji when he was younger. He says , I missed realizing at that time that there is such a Swami – a world-famous, divine person, who has happened as an Avatar. But I realize now, our Nithyananda Swami is a truly great seer. I regret a lot now that I missed Him during His childhood days. I don’t know how to say it…when I look back and remember how harshly I had spoken to Him at that time, my eyes become moist…

Later, I was working in Tiruppattur, in a school. At that time my friend visited the Bidadi ashram. He saw my father’s photo and Nithyananda Swami’s photo. My friend told me about it and asked how we knew Him.

I replied, “He used to come and learn yoga from my father. He is now a great seer.”

My friend asked me, “How come you are speaking in such a casual way?”

Only when my friend asked me that question, it struck my thick head…till then it never hit me. He asked, “How come you are talking so carelessly? He is such a great seer…you are talking about such a great seer so carelessly! I saw your father’s photo there and I was stunned. I have learnt yoga and meditation from that ashram and with so much of devotion I have returned!” I thought to myself: “Today, some third person is talking about my father, and about Swami who learnt from my father – but I did not realize it at the time!” What a big mistake I have done in my life. I felt it was truly a great loss for me.

But in my heart of hearts I pray to Him, “Swami, you have come to my home as a small child. We have moved around with each other. I did not realize You at that time, but now I realize You… It is Your grace. It is enough if Your eyes fall on me. I don’t even need to come to you. If my thoughts can reach you, and Your remembrance can fall on me, that is enough. My mother should be well.’ This is what I pray to Swami now.

Sundari Ammal Does the Aksharabhyasam Ritual with The Avatar

C.P Sundari was the head of the Ganesh Nursery School when Raju Mudaliar registered for the admittance of the young incarnation in 1981, a year before usual admissible age.

Upon beginning His one year in the Ganesh Nursery School, it was C.P Sundari who was blessed to perform the traditional ritual of aksharabhyasam for The Avatar. In this ritual, C.P Sundari seated His Divine Holiness in her lap in front of a silver plate of rice. On the smoothened surface of the rice, His Divine Holiness allowed the headmistress of the school to hold His small hand and write out the letters, “Om Namah Shivaya” in Tamil. Thus, for Paramashiva Himself, who has explained in detail the energy, color and deity of each akshara in the sacred Text Kamika Agama, C.P Sundari became the blessed individual to have performed this sacred ritualistic initiation into the world of letter.

These rare photographs are among the earliest recorded events after the physical manifestation of the Supreme Consciousness, The Avatar, happened on the Planet. They were arranged to be taken atop the terrace of the house of Raju Mudaliar, who is the maternal grandfather of SPH, in Kanni Kovil street in Tiruvannamalai, the birthplace of SPH. In this photograph, along with the Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism are His biological parents, Ma Lokanayaki and Sri Arunachalam. These photographs were arranged to be taken when The Avatar was around the age of two, as He had quickly become the adored doe-eyed new-born incarnation for His gurus and the whole of Tiruvannamalai

Shankar and Ramalingam Ayya share on the divine horoscope revealed on The Avatar

Upon The Happening of His Divine Holiness on Planet Earth, Ma Lokanayaki and her father, Raju Mudaliar, arranged for the traditional horoscope to be read for The Avatar. They called upon the renowned family astrologer, Venkatasamy Chettiar, who lived within five houses on Kanni Kovil Street as Raju Mudaliar in Tiruvannamalai.

Accompanying Ma Lokanayaki was one of her friends to witness the prediction which was about to take place, and who would not forget this moment even half-a-century into the future. Upon reading the horoscope for His Divine Holiness, Venkatasamy Chettiar was stunned and perplexed as to how to reveal this news to a traditional, affectionate mother without uprooting her peace.

“Your son will be successful in all things He takes up,” He said first.
“He will create a breakthrough in all fields that He enters,” He continued.
Then finally he revealed the most prominent reading of the divine horoscope, “He will be a Rajasanyasi, the king of sanyasis”

Venkatasamy Chettiar comforted the biological parents of His Divine Holiness saying, “If you delay conveying this to Him, you can delay the process of Him leaving you.”

The astrologer had little clue that it was the Descent of Paramashiva he was reading although he read that the birth was on the very Mahadeva Ashtami – eighth day of the waning moon dedicated to Paramashiva Himself. Little did he know it was foretold thousands of years ago that Paramashiva would appear, once again on Planet Earth, revive, leading the enlightened civilization of KAILASA. Just as the Rajasanyasis guided and led the kingdoms of the great Vedic civilization, The Avatar, who first beheld the name A.A Rajashekaran, happened on the planet earth to guide all the living beings into the new age.

Sampath, a blessed childhood friend of The Avatar, Shares Deeper Insights of The Divine Childhood of The Avatar

Sampath is one of the blessed direct eyewitnesses to the childhood of The Avatar. Holding the record for spending maximum hours with The Avatar prior to the declaration of the international mission, Sampath’s recollections are like parts of a jigsaw puzzle which he strives to put together repeatedly, moving between his direct yet incomprehensible memoirs of his childhood friend, hearsays from others who were present at other times, and reading books about Him that were published later where other happenings are described. Sampath tries to repeatedly share what he could never comprehend but has always held on to so diligently as the chosen one by Existence for his enviable role, and he remains the only evidence in many vital scenes in The Leelas of The Avatar.

Sampath is one among the hundreds who witnessed this grand enactment put on by the Cosmos in the early years of the Divine Advent. Even though Sampath was the closest friend of The Avatar during His childhood, Sampath found himself continuously awestruck by the inexplicable ways of the young Avatar: Barely having crossed a decade on planet Earth, The Avatar seemed to have the knowledge of centuries when He spoke. He was the favorite of all the enlightened beings who lived in Tiruvannamalai and could exemplify even the most arduous spiritual feats like levitation, telepathy and even being in two places at once!

But for a reason not known to Sampath, even though The Avatar was leagues beyond the comprehension of His contemporaries, He continued to involve Sampath in many of His activities, including yoga classes, alankar (deity adornment) for various deities and Girivalam (circumambulation around the sacred Arunachala Hill). Sampath remembers His time with The Avatar as the most sacred moments of His entire life, ingrained in Him with immense endearment forever.

Gopal Mhj, from Ramakrishna Order, Shares the Authenticity, Passion and Intensity with which The Avatar was in the Ramakrishna Mutt

Brahmachari Gopal Maharaj recalls the unforgettable intensity and energy presence of His Divine Holiness as a brahmachari (hindu monk). It was years later that the blessed team compiling the Autobiography of The Avatar was able to sit down with Gopal Maharaj and listen to him recall His sweet memories with HDH.

They sat for hours until even very late in the night, not knowing the passage of time as Gopal Maharaj narrated and the team listened, enthralled by the divine play of Paramashiva that He enacted even when He was 17 years old.

When Gopal Maharaj ended his memoirs in the early hours of the morning, there was a brimming fulfillment in the ambience, each one filled with excitement, talking softly as if not to disturb the divine presence that seemed to land among them.

The following transcript of the interview is a raw insight into the Life of The Avatar as He was just beginning the grand revival of KAILASA with the same intensity and passion which He forges a world where all living beings enjoy Conscious breakthrough and freedom from fear – the highest aspiration of all people.
